About My Artwork
All artwork displayed on this website is created by me, Joseph Hood, unless otherwise stated. My original paintings, prints, photographs, written descriptions, and other creative content are intended for personal enjoyment and are protected by applicable copyright laws.
Because each original painting is individually created, slight variations in color, texture, brushwork, and appearance may occur. Colors may also appear somewhat different depending on your device or screen settings.
Original Paintings
Original paintings listed for sale are one-of-a-kind pieces. Once an original painting has been sold, that exact original will no longer be available for purchase.
Artwork should be handled and displayed with reasonable care. I am not responsible for damage that occurs after delivery due to improper handling, installation, storage, or display.
Prints
Prints are reproductions of my original artwork and are produced specifically for customers. Available sizes, materials, and pricing are listed on the individual product page.
Because prints are reproductions, they may have slight differences in color or appearance compared with the original painting.
Commissions
Commission requests are subject to my availability and approval. Before beginning a commission, I will discuss the artwork, size, pricing, timeline, and other important details with the customer.
A commission is considered accepted once the agreed-upon terms and payment arrangements have been confirmed.
Commission artwork is created specifically for the customer and is non-refundable and not eligible for returns once the work has been completed.
I reserve the right to decline a commission request at my discretion.
Pricing & Payments
All prices displayed on the website are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect an order that has already been confirmed and paid for.
Payment must be successfully completed before an order is processed or artwork is shipped, unless other arrangements have been made for a commission.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping information, estimated processing times, and applicable shipping costs will be provided during the purchasing process or on the applicable product page.
Once an order has been shipped, delivery times may vary depending on the shipping carrier and destination. I am not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, natural disasters, or other circumstances outside of my control.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout.
Returns & Refunds
Please review my Refund & Return Policy before purchasing.
In general, prints are not eligible for returns. Original paintings may be eligible for a return if they are received and returned in good condition, with the customer responsible for return shipping costs.
Commission paintings are final sale and are not eligible for returns or refunds.
Artwork Copyright & Use
All artwork, photographs, images, logos, product descriptions, and other original content on this website belong to Joseph Hood Art unless otherwise indicated.
Purchasing an original painting or print does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights to the buyer.
You may display artwork that you purchase for personal use, but you may not reproduce, resell, copy, modify, distribute, or commercially use my artwork or images without my written permission.
This includes using my artwork for merchandise, advertising, commercial products, digital content, or other commercial purposes.
