Sail Breeze

There’s something about being near the water that has always given me a sense of peace. The open horizon, the movement of the water, and the feeling of a cool breeze coming off the coast are all things I wanted to capture in Sail Breeze.
I wanted this painting to feel like one of those moments where you can slow down, take a breath, and simply enjoy where you are. The sailboat moving across the water adds a feeling of freedom and movement, while the surrounding colors create a calm, coastal atmosphere.
As someone who loves painting North Carolina landscapes and coastal scenes, I enjoy creating artwork that brings that feeling of being by the water into someone’s home. Sail Breeze is my personal interpretation of that peaceful coastal escape—a reminder of the simple beauty and freedom that can come from getting out on the water.
