Blue Skies 1 - Giclee Fine Art Print

I’ve always loved those days when you look up and the sky is just completely blue. There’s something simple about it, but at the same time, it can completely change the way a day feels.
I painted Blue Skies because I wanted to capture that feeling of openness and calm. The kind of moment where you can take a breath, look up, and for just a little while, forget about everything else going on around you.
I used bold color and expressive palette-knife work to give the sky movement and texture, rather than trying to make it look perfectly realistic. I wanted it to feel like a memory of looking up at a beautiful day — bright, peaceful, and full of possibility.
This piece is part of my Sky Collection, which is inspired by my fascination with the constantly changing colors, shapes, and moods of the sky. Each painting is my way of taking an ordinary part of everyday life and turning it into something you can keep with you.
